Washington, D.C. — Crest Hill Advisors LLC today announced that former Ambassador Steve Lang, a veteran diplomat and recognized leader in international technology and telecommunications policy, is joining the firm as a senior advisor.
Ambassador Lang brings more than 30 years of diplomatic service and policy expertise to the firm, most recently serving as the U.S. Coordinator of International Communications and Information Policy. In that role, he led U.S. delegations to major international forums, including the World Radiocommunications Conference, the International Telecommunication Union, including as head of the delegation to the 2023 World Radiocommunication Conference; the G7 and G20 digital tracks; APEC; and the OECD. He also helped lead the formation of the State Department’s Bureau of Cyberspace and Digital Policy and advanced U.S. advocacy for trusted ICT infrastructure spanning 5G, subsea cables, data centers, cloud services and satellite communications. He has been a tireless advocate for U.S. companies facing regulatory challenges in markets around the world.
