Washington, D.C. – Crest Hill Advisors LLC today announced that Neile Miller, a nationally recognized budget, energy and nuclear security leader with decades of senior government experience, has joined the firm as a senior advisor.
“Neile has spent her career helping shape some of the federal government's most consequential policy decisions," said Managing Partner Scott Blake Harris. “She understands how policy decisions are made, how government works from the inside, and how to translate that insight into strategic advice for clients. Her leadership and policy expertise will be an extraordinary asset to our team.”
In her most recent government service, Miller served as Acting Under Secretary of Energy for Nuclear Security and Principal Deputy Administrator of the National Nuclear Security Administration, where she led the transformation of the U.S. Nuclear Weapons Enterprise and earned Outstanding Public Service Awards from both the Secretary of Energy and the Secretary of Defense. Earlier, she served as Budget Director at the Department of Energy, held several senior leadership roles in DOE's Office of Nuclear Energy, and twice served at the White House Office of Management and Budget, overseeing portfolios spanning the Department of Energy, the Department of Defense, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and the NNSA.

In addition to her role at Crest Hill, Miller serves as a Vice President with the management and operating contractor for the Nevada National Security Sites, bringing significant private-sector experience in strategy and business development supporting federal programs. She holds a bachelor's degree from Vassar College and a master's degree from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service.
