
Michael O’Rielly, a Special Advisor at Crest Hill, has been thought leader and expert on communications policy for more than three decades, serving for twenty-five years in a variety of government positions. His most recent government service was as a Commissioner at the Federal Communications Commission.
Before that he served as a policy advisor in the Office of the Senate Republican Whip, as a policy analyst for the Republican Policy Committee in the U.S. Senate focusing on Banking, Technology, Transportation, Trade, and Commerce issues, on the personal staff of Senator John Sununu, as a professional staff member on the Committee on Energy and Commerce, and on the staff of Congressman Tom Bliley.
Mike also serves as the President of MPORielly Consulting, LLC, a visiting fellow at the Hudson Institute’s Center for the Economics of the Internet, a senior fellow at the Media Institute, and an Adjunct Senior Fellow at the Free State Foundation.
Mike received his B.A. from the University of Rochester.
